Choosing the thesis topics is the first big challenge of writing a thesis. It is hard not only to make the right decision on the thesis topics. It is also important to choose something in the interest for you and that will be not so tricky to cover.
Below we will describe approximately the process of choosing the thesis topics.
• So, you have to think of the topic that interests and challenges you. What is more, you have to think how much time and efforts it will take you to disclose this topic.
• The next step that you have to take is narrowing topic down. It should be something like that “Religion”, “Eastern Religion”, “Hinduism”. Narrowing down the topic is important, since it will influence the time and efforts you will need.
• After that, you have to discuss the topic with your advisor. In other words, you need to get his/her approval of the chosen topic. Besides, you will get the helpful recommendations on the ways to disclose it, on the useful materials, on the possible difficulties and so on.
• Talking to your advisor will also help you to understand whether this person will be really helpful in the course of writing your project. The help from this person is significant. If he/she is an expert in some other field, it is better to change the advisor.
The final advice is – do not choose the brand new topics or those topics that you have never dealt with. You have a risk to waste your time on research that will have no results.
